I had the absolute pleasure of having All Occasions Music, with the legendary Johnny Mogambo, perform at my 50th birthday party in New York, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience!

Johnny Mogambo is a true legend, and his talent knows no bounds. I first saw him at Vail Ski Mountain, and his energy and charisma blew me away. When I learned he could bring that same magic to my milestone birthday celebration, I knew it was going to be epic.

Johnny Mogambo brought an electrifying energy to the party that got everyone on their feet. The fun and excitement were off the charts, and the entire crowd couldn't help but groove to the beat. He's not just a talented musician; he's a hard-working and incredibly cool guy who knows how to transform the vibe of any event.

The Band

Jonathan Lindner-aka Jonny Mogambo - guitars/vocals/entertainer of the year

Jonny Mogambo has been voted entertainer of the year multiple times by the Vail Daily readers poll.  He is the front man, guitarist vocalist and entertainer extraordinaire for the Jonny Mogambo Band based out of Vail and Denver Colorado.  He was born and raised on Chicago rock and blues and made Colorado his permanent home gaining years of experience playing the Colorado ski town circuit sharing the stage with national acts and playing towns from Vail and Steamboat to Aspen and Telluride. Today he plays weekly shows in Vail during the ski season and with his company All Occasions Music plays events all over Colorado and nationwide during the spring, summer and fall seasons. Over 25 years of playing, Jonny has shaped one of Colorado's hottest entertainment bands and has delivered time and time again to make any event an amazing musical experience.

Kyle Comerfod-drums,backing vocals

Kyle's drumming has been described as "Honey Nut Cheerios with a little morning whiskey." Sweet and powerful and little bit dirty, Kyle's 30 years of drumming across multiple decades and continents - including playing with the Jonny Mogambo Band for the US troops in five countries - makes him one of Colorado's best drummers. Among bands too many to count, Kyle has been in the Sally Taylor Band, The Reejers, Loaded Dice and his present group the JMB. Kyle has shared the stage with James Taylor, Los Lobos, Jimmy Buffet, Edwin McCain, Jeffeson Starship, The Vilent Femmes, Everclear, Junior Walke, Greg Khin, John Caffery and Guster.  Over the years Kyle has tamed down his 37 piece Neil Pert inspired drumset to a manageable 4 piece - but close your eyes and it still sounds like two people are playing!

Andrew Vogt -Saxophones (Tenor, alto, baritone, saprano), flute, clarinet

Andrew Vogt is simply one of the best saxophone players you will ever hear.  He is an amazing jazz, funk, rock, blues, Motown and R&B player.  He can cover any style there is and when he plays, you feel it!

When he was a kindergartener, one of his favorite albums to select for family dinner music was the Breakfast at Tiffany's soundtrack, featuring music and composition by Henry Mancini. This music, particularly the saxophone parts, inspired him to want to make music a predominant part of his life. Now, Andrew Vogt is a professional freelance saxophonist performing gigs in Fort Collins every week, a band director at three local schools and touring musician with the Jonny Mogambo Band.

"I always loved music, since I was a little kid. My dad had a good record collection, which I still dig into. My two brothers and I took turns picking dinner music. One album Dad had was Henry Mancini's Breakfast at Tiffany's. It was my favorite. It had great saxophone, and I was hooked when I heard that," he said. "They played jazz and took us to opera. We were exposed to good music early on."

Vogt splits his time during the day as band director at Saint Joseph Catholic School in Fort Collins, Saint John the Evangelist Catholic School in Loveland, and Immanuel Lutheran School in Loveland. He appreciates the opportunity to be involved in music education and introducing children to instruments.
