Hello to all brides and grooms, party goers, fun seekers and music lovers! The Jonny Mogambo Band and All Occasions Music are ready for another summer of music, entertainment and good times in Colorado and nationwide. The sound is rocking and live in 2025! It has been an incredible ski season filled with weekly music dates in Vail and great parties all over Colorado. We even played a crazy party in April at The Sunday River Ski Resort in Maine for Donny Peltier's Burn and Bash Mogul competition. These were some of the world's best mogul skiers from the US Olympic and World Cup Teams. When these guys throw a party, they go big! They brought me, yours truly Jonny Mogambo, in for the post competition celebration and to say it went off like Jonny Moseley and 1400 other partiers breaking the shot ski world record, would be right on par for the vibe that we felt all weekend.

The Jonny Mogambo Band has recently received the "Best of Bands for 2025" awarded by Wedding Wire, The Knot and Wedding Pro nationwide. This is the 11th year in a row that the band has received this award. It is given to 3% of bands nationwide that perform at this level and meet the criteria.

Summer & Fall 2024 | What a great ride it's been!

The Jonny Mogambo Band have had an amazing summer and fall of 2024! We have played some incredible parties all over Colorado from Denver, Vail and Beaver Creek to Telluride, Crested Butte, Aspen and Steamboat. We have had some wedding parties fly us into Michigan, Oklahoma and Canada. We still it make it our mission to throw you, the bride and groom, your family and all your friends the best celebration party with the best live music you can find in Colorado. We would like to share a story with you about one of our recent shows we played in Michigan. We were playing our first set of music after starting with the first dance for the bride and groom, the father daughter dance and the mother son dance and we were well into having the dance floor packed and everyone jamming with us. The father of the bride stepped up to me and said, "I have been to many weddings lately where everyone usually leaves by now. You guys have this place rocking." By the end of the night he also said, "...at the all the weddings we have been to, we have never seen a band keep everyone dancing and everyone here at the party all the way until midnight!" It was true validation for the results we deliver at every event that we play.

We put on a show that will keep you and your guests engaged, dancing all night and sometimes up on stage with us singing along and celebrating the good times being had by all. Another story we have is all about the "circle of love." We have this special thing that happens all the time when we play music. We call it the "circle of love." This happens when we get so deep into a groove and we have the whole place jamming, that every forms a circle around the bride and groom and gives them their love. When this happens, everyone in the band looks at each other with a nod of approval. We know we have once again gone to that level of musicianship and connection with our audience where they circle up and celebrate in the most highest of fashion. Long live the "circle of love!"

I have to say, it has been an amazing ride for the summer and fall of 2024. We get to travel to all these wonderful places and play music for weddings and private parties all over Colorado and nationwide. August 2023

The Jonny Mogambo band and All Occasions Music have had an amazing summer of 2023. We started with some great stops in Long Island NY for private parties and then back to Colorado with events in Buena Vista, Vail and Beaver Creek. We helped dreams come true for many brides and grooms as we provided music for their ceremonies with some great acoustic music and strings on into the festivities with some great jazz and acoustic tunes during cocktail hour and then bringing on the high energy entertainment of the Jonny Mogambo band for the after dinner dance party.

As June rolled in we entertained for more great parties in Vail Colorado and then it was on to Valentine Nebraska for the Prairie Golf Clubs annual member guest party. We also hit a stop in Roca Nebraska south of Lincoln for a fun night at the Roca Tavern and all the good people we have come to know from Nebraska. We play consistently during the ski seasons in Colorado and all these people that we meet from other states have us in for some wild parties during the summer months. It's always a good time bringing that Colorado vibe to other places and seeing the fun response we get.

July brough new adverntures up at Piney River Ranch at the base of the Gore Range above Vail, parties in Bachelor gulch and mountain top in Telluride. If you have ever been to the wedding deck at The San Sophia Overlook above Telluride, you know how amazing it is for us to play there. More parties at Piney River Ranch, The Vail Golf club, Fort Collins and then on to Dayton Ohio for a wedding celebration in the heart of the mid west. One thing in common that we bring to all of these parties is a high energy that gets everyone involved singing along and dancing the night away. We specialize in creating what we call "The Circle of Love." This happens when the music reaches a level of energy where many people form a circle and take turns dancing in the middle. When we see this, we know everyone is having a great time and we have connected with them in the way that we want to connect.

And now, here we are in August. We are still moving forward and very busy with upcoming stops in Greensboro NC, Silver Lake Michigan and more Colorado parties in Vail, Beaver Creek and Boulder. March is here and we are in full swing with booking for weddings, private events and company parties for the upcoming summer and fall seasons of 2023.

It's that time of the year!

Everyone is feeling jolly and ready for some good fun during the holiday season. Here at All Occasions Music featuring The Jonny Mogambo Band, we are booking for some great parties this holiday season. In past years we have played everything from company parties in Boulder and Denver to private parties on mountain tops in Vail, Aspen and Telluride. With the economy the way it is, many companies are cutting back on their holiday party budgets. Here at All Occasions Music we do have options that can fit any budget. So, give us a call and ask about our holiday specials!

We do continue to play some great weddings at this time year but tend to get more of the private and company parties over the holiday season and on New Years Eve. We are still open for New Years Eve, so if you or someone you know are looking for a great band for your New Years Eve Party, give us a call! Does everyone remember last New Years Eve? It was a bust as everyone caught the second wave of Covid. What a drag! We are happy that is behind us and we are hoping for a happy a healthy new year as we move into 2023. JONNY MOGAMBO BAND/ SUMMER 2022 & NEW VIDEO

Hello Friends and Fans!

The summer of 2022 was a whirlwind with my group, the Jonny Mogambo Band playing private parties weddings and company parties throughout Colorado from Telluride, Aspen, Steamboat and Summit county to Vail, Beaver Creek, Denver and the whole front range area. I did some traveling and played some great parties with my solo acoustic rock show in Northern Michigan on the 4th of July, on July 13th for a great gig at the Stormcloud Brewery in Frankfort Michigan and back again in August for a string of shows at the Crystal Lake Yacht Club, Todd Pros 50th B day bash and the Hound Dog regatta party at the Grand Traverse Yacht Club. It was a blast playing in Alexandria Minnesota outside of Minneapolis for the Resorters Golf tournament party in August and in Toronto Canada for a great wedding party in October. We would like to give a huge THANKS to everyone that has supported us and enjoyed our music along the way!

The Jonny Mogambo Band played some amazing parties this summer with our eight piece band that features our horn section lead by the incredible, amazing and ever so talented Andrew Vogt on saxophones. Add in our tight rhythm section guided by Kyle Comerford on drums and either Alex Scott or Joe Bianci on bass guitar along with Aj Salas on keyboards and Arvella Rose on female vocals and you have a tight rocking band that keeps the dance floor packed all night and puts on a high energy performance that will have you and all your guests talking for years to come. IF YOU WANT AN AMAZING WEDDING, THEN YOU NEED THE JONNY MOGAMBO BAND! Jonny Mogambo Band crushed it! We went through the whole process with Jon. I wish we could post some videos on here but it was all our wedding guests could talk about. Amazing first dance, father daughter, and mother son. Played a mixed song list for all guests, not just classic wedding songs but went above and beyond with the song choices and REALLY engaging with the audience. All around just the best time and super amazing to work with! We will be going out of our way to find the next time they are playing and look forward to catching you guys again soon! If you are looking for a band to get people on their feet dancing than look no further! Jonny and his band are amazing! Jonny is very responsive and did an amazing job making sure we were taken care of throughout the whole process. They play an amazing list of diverse songs and even got people who “don’t dance” out of their seats.Couldn’t have envisioned it any better and had almost every attendee tell us it was the most fun they have ever had at a wedding. Unreal is the only word to describe The Jonny Mogambo Band! He was extremely easy to work with, super laid back, but very professional all at the same time. My wife already sent in a review but I felt compelled to give him another one since he was that good. He listened to our vows and created our own song at the ceremony which was absolutely incredible and something we will never forget. He got everyone, young and old, dancing and on the dance floor. 2022 WEDDINGS AND PRIVATE PARTY TIME!

2022 is shaping to be the year of the comeback. After so many cancelled events during Covid it is apparent that most wedding couples and private party fun seekers are going full steam ahead for the spring, summer and fall of 2022. The word in the industry is that the summer of 2022 will be one of the busiest wedding seasons since 1984.

At All Occasions Music and with the Jonny Mogambo Band, we have a great schedule lined up for the spring, summer and fall of 2022 with parties in Vail, Beaver Creek, Telluride, Aspen, Denver, Toronto Canada, Northern Michigan, Greensboro North Carolina and Cocoa Beach Florida to name a few. This band does travel. We will play anywhere, anytime for any event in Colorado and nationwide. Many people that see us perform during the winter ski season in Vail Colorado end up flying us to some great parties around the country. It’s great to get back to being able to travel and play for people all over the country. But, mainly, during the summers, you will find this band playing in Colorado. SUMMER 2021 – WE ARE BACK!

Summertime in the Colorado is always a great place to be.

This summer, everyone that had postponed their weddings and parties during Covid rebooked and it was an incredibly busy summer for us here at All Occasions Music and the Jonny Mogambo Band. We played parties all over the country from Michigan and Chicago to Minneapolis and our main area of playing, Colorado. As venues opened up and welcomed people back we found everyone full of great energy and excited to be back what they like doing best.The body content of your post goes here. We played some great parties in Aspen, Telluride, Vail, Beaver Creek, Boulder and all over the Denver area. Our 8 piece band was killing it this summer with some updated new songs added to the song list, soaring vocals by our incredible female vocalists and the horn section and players where nothing short of amazing. When you hear this band and they are digging deep into their funk rock songs, it’s a different band than you will ever hear at any wedding or private party. They play some original arrangements of some great songs and when I give them a solo, they take the whole crowd to a new place. They elevate the atmosphere of the party and most people say hearing this band at a party is more like a great concert than a wedding or company party. There was a different vibe in the air as people where fit to party and get to celebrating after the crazy year that everyone had. This band elevates that vibe and takes everyone along on a musical ride.
